 HISTORY 

  

       Portage Trim started approximately 25 years ago. We started small by doing repairs for car dealers and customers that walked into our facility. Our facility was in a small building with only one upholsterer. As news of our workmanship was passed along by our customers we were able to hire more employees. We were approached to redo interiors in customer's vehicles. We started going to car shows and displaying some of our work. It did not take long for Portage Trim to become one of the best installers of custom interiors.

 

       In 1989 we built our new facility. Our new building was a 50 foot x 100 foot facility. At that time, we had four full time upholsters. After several years and thanks to our wonderful and satisfied customers we built another 50 x 100 foot addition. We have customers from New York, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, Georgia and several other states.

 

       We have had numerous interiors that have won best of show in their various categories. We are very pleased to be able to supply the impossible and the normal for all of our customers. Our upholsters are artists that can look at your vehicle and help you decide the materials, color and design of your cars interior coordinated with the color of your car.
